January 12 to 14, 2015
After a successful first edition in 2014, the French Quarter Jazz Festival is returning to New York with the support of the Institut français from January 12 to 15, 2015, for three special evenings at venues that are well known to jazz fans: the Smalls Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, Joe’s Pub in East Village and Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center.
The French Quarter Festival, created by the Paris Jazz Club, aims to promote the new generation of French jazz to professionals from all over the world who are in New York for three major international jazz events: the Winter Jazz Festival, the globalFEST festival, and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference.
In all, no fewer than 40 French artists will perform at the festival, including saxophonist Olivier Bogé and his quartet, the Pierrick Pedron Trio, pianist Grégory Privat and the René Urtreger Trio who will close the festival.
